John Reid Towel Bar August 29th, 2018 - 03:59:12
Towel bar height and most builders recommend, above a toilet, to put a towel bar between 21 and 28 inches above the toilet and then again, depending on what else you have in the toilet, so you can line it up. It gives you a little bit of flexibility for towel bars right out of a shower or bathtub. They actually recommend 48 inches for adults and 36 inches for kids and that's when you're reaching out of the bathtub.
You can grab the towel from the top and it's easy if you put it up higher, sometimes you're pulling down. It puts stress on the brackets. Now, if you have a robe hook, they recommend 70 inches above the ground and space some nine inches apart. So those are some of the basics. If you're redoing, your bathroom, it kind of gives you a general feel of the heights and for your convenience underneath.
Really take that much so basically have these two bars and then these two met and what I do I have to use this little one. It looks like an Allen key right here and there is a set screw over here and we want that to be at the bottom because you don't want to see that set screw.
