Irene Delaney Towel Bar September 10th, 2018 - 02:40:43
Towel bar. So you take all the guesswork out of how far apart do I have to make my holes so take your template, attach it to the wall using frog tape. So you don't mess up your paint. Take a standard level through the middle of the template will be a level line, hold your level against that line and make sure that you have your paper level on the wall. If your towel mark, it does not come with a paper template like this one. Can you use a regular yardstick against the wall, making sure if you're holding it level, then you can mark 18 inches or 14 inches? However, far apart, you need your screw holes.
I'm hoping we can find a stunt to hold on to. I have found that three out of the four holes for the mounting bracket do not have a stud behind them, so we're gonna have to use a wall anchor. This one here is sturdy and has a stud, so we can just drive the screw right through it. Remove your paper template exposing the holes that you had made, so you can put your mounting bracket to the wall for the starter, hole that does not have a stud drive.
A wall anchor into the wall place the mounting bracket over the holes, put the screw into the anchor and secure drive the screw directly through the bracket into the stud inside the wall, secure your second bracket to the wall using wall anchors as needed. The inside of your mounting hardware will have a groove inside at the top with another space at the bottom of the screw.
