Leanne Hughes Towel Ring November 18th, 2018 - 01:13:21
The hanging towel rail. We need some brackets to attach this unit to the ceiling. So the first thing we're going to do is cut a couple of circular discs. Out of a piece of off cut, apply, clamp, apply to your workbench, then using the hole saw drill the two circular holes as we want our flare pipe to sit flush in the bracket. We want to drill a recess hole first, which is the width of our flare and then a clearance hole all the way through, which is the width of the pipe.
The brackets are sorted so we're going to put those aside and cut our color pipe to length. Now measure the pipe into lengths you want and then cut using a pipe cutter. The good thing about a pipe cutter is: it gives you a clean cut with neighbors. You now need to flare one end of both of your longer pipes. This is to ensure that it doesn't fall out of your brackets flaring. Your pipes are a very simple process just place.
Your pipe into here clamp it shut and then hit the other end with a hammer, don't be tempted when doing this to rest it on the floor or the bench as you will bend. Your bike now slides your timber brackets over your pipes towards the flared end. Just leave them loose for now we are going to block them up later, we're now going to attach our tee pieces to the pipe we'll do this with a crimping tool, we're using a crimping tool, as we don't need to make these watertight, and it's a lot easier than glue we're now gonna put our remaining elbows and pipes together and lay it flat on the bench. This is to ensure that the unit stays square to lock the bracket in place.
