Chrystal Barber Towel Bar September 05th, 2018 - 03:20:13
I've got 23 and 1/8 of an inch to the center on the other one. So that's how I'm going to make my markings and my eyeball, I'm pretty sure. I know where I want this mounted my 23. It's going to be about where my thumb is. I wanted it up high about eye level for the top of it because usually you might want to take your towel, wipe your face or your hands. So it's hanging here, you don't have to reach down too far, it's kind of like an eye height level.
So I've got it centered within my wall and I'm going to make sure our level bubble is level and that's level right there I'll make a little dot here. A little cross mark and 23 and 1/8 makes my little cross mark there double-check the bubble is level and I've got my two marks there or Center. So now I'm going to know where the centers are. I can pull my mounting plates out. Put them right in the center there. So what I'm going to do this one's got two holes they're pretty close together, so I can find that center mark there, I'm going to mark a dot in the center there dot and the center or the other hole, and I'm going to do the same over here now I have it next we do is we can start drilling okay, I'm going to take my drywall anchor here and I've matched it up with the drill bit.
You don't want to go too big. You go too big. You've gone too far that it's going to create another headache. So we'll start with this one make sure we didn't go too big, all right. Looking good! Okay, this one, we hit a stud, that's fine! We can use a regular screw there, which will make it even stronger anyway, so we don't mind when we hit the stud in this case, not too far just hit it in flush with the wall, the drywall we making any hammer marks on your nice drywall finish There we got it, the one I'm leaving out is I'm going to use regular wood screw.
Removing my now he's played here. Alright, take the drill bit out these screws in the anchors they were included. I like to hand, tighten them with a screwdriver, because I don't want to you, know to strip them out, so don't take them too. Tight, go back with your hand, driver and finish up the job, and this was the one that was going into the stud that works.
