Christian Norton Towel Bar September 03rd, 2018 - 03:03:10
A towel bar between 21 and 28 inches above the toilet and then again, depending on what else you have in the toilet, so you can line it up. It gives you a little bit of flexibility for towel bars right out of a shower or bathtub. They actually recommend 48 inches for adults and 36 inches for kids and that's when you're reaching out of the bathtub.
You can grab the towel from the top and it's easy if you put it up higher, sometimes you're pulling down. It puts stress on the brackets. Now, if you have a robe hook, they recommend 70 inches above the ground and space some nine inches apart. So those are some of the basics. If you're redoing, your bathroom, it kind of gives you a general feel of the heights.
I'm going to put two on each side of the towel bar, and so even if we have heavy wet towels, it's going to do a much better job. So now I've marked the top and the bottom to hold that bracket in the wall, and these are just the tip of this we're going to impale into the drywall.
